"My name is Olivia, I am a youth mentor from Social Switch which is a project run by the charities Redthread and Catch22 We support young people in London to access education, training and employment.
I am currently supporting some young people who are due to start higher education courses but do not have access to a laptop/computer/device that will allow them to engage with their education. They are all from low income backgrounds and receive benefits, such as universal credit. They also came into contact with our service due to being impacted by serious violence.
